A Journey of a Million Steps
As I grope my way back into doing several things that I never should have stopped doing, and start doing things I always dreamed of doing, I've decided to chronicle some of them. One of those things is developing software.
I've never considered myself a developer, not really. The fact that I know (or at least learnt sometime in my history) VB, VBScript, PHP, and now C#, does not make me a developer. I will be a developer when I have created a solution that at least one person is able to use for education, entertainment, to automate or improve business processes.
So this is my Developer's notebook. My plan with this blog is to create a log of my journey from non-developer to experienced solution provider. Maybe no one will ever read it, but in a year or two when I go back and look at this first post, and the second and the third, hopefully I will see a journey that has crossed fields, mountains, valleys, rivers and seas and finds me where I should be.
